Mike's Thoughts de Jour

Got to hotel in Philly this morning at 2:30 am after a ridiculously long delay in Charlotte because of a faulty Airbus plane.  Got about 3.5 hrs sleep and are up and ready for this very long day.  Hopefully we can catnap on the plane as it will be 30+ hrs before we see bed in Katmandu.

We had to get our duffle bags from baggage claim when we got to Philly but our bags never showed up on the baggage carresole.  Turns out our bags had taken an earlier flight to Philly and were waiting on us for 5 hrs or so whilst we were dealing with a failed airplane.  Did I mention it was an Airbus airplane.

If anyone is checking the blog already, sorry there are not more photos yet but there was not much photo-worthy in the 3 airports and 2 planes we've been in.  Feel free to leave a comment on any of the posts.  No one has ever commented on this blog so I'm curious to how/where comments show up.
